College Goals and Objectives

Goal
The College of Arts and Social Sciences aims to develop well-rounded individuals equipped with critical thinking, creativity, and a strong foundation in the humanities and social sciences. It seeks to produce competent, ethical, and globally competitive professionals and leaders who contribute meaningfully to national development, community service, and lifelong learning.

 

Objectives:

  1. To provide quality General Education courses that develop critical thinking, creativity, social responsibility, and global awareness among students across disciplines.
  2. To deliver relevant undergraduate and graduate programs in Communication, Psychology, Human Services, English Language Studies, and Counseling aligned with national and international standards and responsive to the evolving demands of the 21st century.
  3. To cultivate a strong research culture among faculty and students, producing and disseminating relevant, innovative, and impactful research in the humanities and social sciences.
  4. To strengthen partnerships with government, industry, and international organizations to implement community programs and initiatives for social transformation and sustainable development.
  5. To nurture students’ leadership, communication, and intercultural skills while promoting appreciation of Philippine culture, preparing them to thrive as ethical professionals and responsible global citizens.
