OPPME leads discussion of TSU’s performance review by DBM

Findings and recommendations made by the Department of Budget and Management relative to Tarlac State University’s performance in 2020 were reviewed through the initiative of the Office of Planning, Performance Monitoring and Evaluation on June 2, 2021 via Zoom. 

The DBM conducted the annual monitoring and review of TSU’s performance particularly on the utilization of government fund alongside its plans and targets for 2020. 

The goal of the of the virtual discussion is to develop strategic action plans based on the recommendations listed on the DBM letter dated March 11, 2021 and ensure the achievement of the targets for fiscal year 2021, according to TSU President Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari. 

“This discussion is giving us a good idea of how far we have come in terms of our commitment to TSU,” said President Mallari. 

During the discussion of the recommendations, President Mallari suggested to revisit teaching strategies in the learning continuity plan, prepare a catch-up plan not just for capital outlay, and push for the constitution of a center to produce instructional materials, among others.
