The Tarlac State University (TSU) welcomed three other offices from the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) for a Benchmarking Activity that would seek to discuss the former’s best practices in Guidance and Counseling, Food Technology and Research, and Technology Development Transfer and Commercialization.
The second visiting CSPC Delegation is attended by its Production and Entrepreneurial Development Services, the Guidance Center, and the Office of the College President.
Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, CSPC’s college president, mentioned that this benchmarking series is a part of their initiatives to strengthen CSPC’s mandate of “Excellence and Transformation” as they vie for the recognition to become an established state university in the Bicol Region.
The activity was attended by Prof. Leah T. Matias (TSU-Food Technology and Research Center Director), Dr. Wilmark J. Ramos (TSU-Technology Development Transfer and Commercialization Office Director), and Mr. Oliver G. Cura (TSU-Guidance and Counseling Unit) who spearheaded the respective roundtable discussions.
Furthermore, a physical survey of the facilities and offices was also conducted to validate the said presentations.
To further the sharing of knowledge to CSPC in terms of Entrepreneurial Services and Technology Transfer Development, the TDTCO initiated a site visit to RP Corpus Sales Enterprises, a client beneficiary of TSU located at Pura, Tarlac.
Dr. Cadag shared his sincerest sentiments to TSU for the services it has rendered for CSPC. CSPC’s Facilities Development and Management Office has first visited TSU for the Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) discussion last May 24, 2022.
“The name Tarlac State University always rings a bell [when you talk about State Universities]. We hope that soon we could further collaborate on projects as part of our Internationalization Initiatives,” Dr. Cadag expressed during the activity.
